Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Danica is FlagSetters' CEO and has been entrepreneurial her whole life and is a champion of women owned businesses and initiatives. Her family owns a small farm in New Hampshire and one of her first businesses as a child was selling pumpkins, apple cider, and homemade chocolate chip cookies to leaf-peepers.
Before founding FlagSetters, Danica attended Colby-Sawyer College in NH. She spent several years on the funding side of early-stage biotechnology and medical device companies, and also enjoyed time in marketing and operations for well-known professional services firms.
Kayla Vieten is an Integrated Marketing Communications major at Ithaca College. Her previous work experience includes managing media outreach and analytics for Ithaca College's Project Look Sharp initiative. As well as handling social media writing, research, reporting and pitching for the public relations agency Peppercomm.
Kayla believes it is important to support businesses in communities across the United States, by encouraging the entrepreneurial efforts of everyday individuals. FlagSetters has given her the opportunity to express support in a creative and public platform.
